The first of its kind... in MalaysiaSetia Badminton Academy [Setia BA] was established in 1997 with Han Jian as its Chief Coach. Han Jian was the 1985 World Champion and the coach of the 1992 Malaysia Thomas Cup Winning team.
Currently, Setia BA has established centre in Melaka, Johor Bahru, Subang Jaya and Klang besides its home base in Setia Alam, Shah Alam. There are about 300 players training in the various centre under Han Jian assisted by six [6] others coaches from China, Indonesia and Malaysia.
